Reduced Fare Program

Senior citizens 62 and older and people with disabilities may take advantage of the reduced fare at any time on DeCamp buses. When you ride with the Reduced Fare Program, you save 50% on a regular one-way fare. The Reduced Fare Program is available for all individuals regardless of their state of residence. Passengers can show their valid NJ Transit Reduced Fare ID or Medicare Card and Reduced Fare Coupon “Blue Script” issued by the State of New Jersey to receive the reduced fare. Reduced Fare Coupon booklets “Blue Scripts” for use on interstate private carrier buses such as DeCamp may be obtained at most local banks, savings and loan associations, authorized state or county agencies, or by writing or calling (973) 491-7112 the NJ Transit Reduced Fare Office. For senior citizens, valid identification includes an NJ Transit Reduced Fare ID, Medicare Card, Driver’s License, Passport, Birth Certificate, State-Issued Non-Driver’s ID, County, Medicaid, or Military ID, MTA Reduced Fare Card, Path Senior Fare Card, PA Senior Citizen Transit ID or PACE Card.
